We are excited to begin preparations for Rice's Hispanic Heritage Month 2026 celebration! Hispanic Heritage Month is an annual observance held from September 15 to October 15, highlighting the diverse Hispanic and Latinx communities whose heritage, accomplishments, and ongoing contributions have been instrumental in shaping modern American society.
STUDENT LOGO CONTEST
The contest is open to both undergraduate and graduate students at Rice. The logo should reflect this year’s theme, Florecemos Con Comunidad: We Bloom with Community. The contest winner will receive a $250 prize and their design will be featured in our marketing materials.
Submissions are due Monday, August 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (CST).
Full submission guidelines are outlined in the Google Form linked here, where students can also submit their work.

We invite the entire campus to help Rice celebrate this year's Hispanic Heritage Month by organizing an event through your organization, office or department. Please use the form below to submit details for inclusion on the HHM landing page and campus flyer, which will serve as the official announcement to the greater Rice community.
All event submissions must be received by 11:59 PM on August 30, 2026 through this Google form.
