Legacy Retreat

The Legacy Retreat is a two-day, one-night immersive Black, Hispanic, and Latine themed experience designed to support and empower first-year students at Rice University. Focused on community building, resource awareness, and academic success, the retreat provides a foundation for students to thrive both personally and professionally. Participants engage in interactive workshops, lean about campus involvement opportunities, and connect with prominent student organizations and leadership. Additionally, the retreat highlights the historical foundations of these communities at Rice, fostering a sense of belonging and cultural pride while equipping students with tools for long-term success.
